Christina is a unique Los Angeles quadruple threat—food designer, mixologist, host and entrepreneur. Her epicurean journey started as a child growing up in Lorain, Ohio, an “International City” comprised of immigrants from more than 55 countries. This exposure to diverse cultures and cuisines set a foundation for a lifelong passion for authentic new tastes and everything culinary!
From early in her career, Christina has been at home in the spotlight, honing her presentation skills as a spokesperson and actor both on camera and at events small and large for clients including Hewlett-Packard, Proctor & Gamble, Frigidaire & KitchenAid to name a few. She also spent years learning every aspect of guest service and hospitality industry, working and collaborating with top chefs, premier caterers, restaurants and four-star hotels.
Christina’s skill with food and beverage blends seamlessly and effortlessly with her ability to share culinary stories in a way that is entertaining and connects to her audience on a soulful level, whether on-screen, in an intimate group setting, a working kitchen or a large auditorium.
Christina loves the opportunity to curate flawless events. From a traditional English Tea complete with scones and homemade Devonshire cream, to major fundraisers or a simple meal at home with friends, her attention to detail is spot-on.
To further her opportunities to share this love of food Christina launched “Sleepers,” a gourmet food company which features her original-recipe seasonings, jams, and teas, all artfully crafted in small batches to showcase the freshest and finest fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices from California and around the globe. All of her creations are flavorful treasures of taste.
Christina's passion for food, her extensive culinary knowledge base and distinct flair for flavor combine to create celebratory perfection. Her sphere of influence is constantly expanding well beyond the family kitchen and Los Angeles. She shares her gourmet adventures at her online blog @sleepersgourmet and with regular speaking engagements on the intersections of food and beverage in culture, traditions and history.
Christina is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, with a BA in Communications & Journalism, a seasoned host and SAG-AFTRA member, Certified Master Food Preserver, SlowFood Preservation Advisor, guest lecturer with Culinary Historians of Southern California, event coordinator for the Pacific Food & Beverage Museum and a featured mixologist for the Museum of the American Cocktail.
